There's no reason to keep eating foods that make you feel bad. Cut them out of your diet and feel better!

“There may be bouts of temptation, or occasional relapses in your dietary regimen, but keep moving toward your goal of a healthier, happier you, and you’ll be glad you did in the long-run.”
Cutting the Allergens From Your Diet
So, you’ve just been diagnosed with food allergies...now what?
Your actions post diagnosis can be your most critical. For one, you’ll be returning home to a kitchen most-likely full of foods that may potentially harm you. It can be a bummer to go through your cabinets and see your favorite cookies, peanut butter, or corn chips on your shelf and realize that it may never be safe for you to eat those foods again. I experienced this first hand, and it can be a devastating feeling. However, you must not beat yourself up over your recent diagnosis. Many of the foods currently in your kitchen were the reason you were feeling so crummy in the first place. Now that foods have been confirmed to be the cause of your ailments (assuming you have already visited your doctor for testing) it’s time to part ways.
Next comes the difficult part...removing these foods from your kitchen. If you’ve recently found that many of the foods you’re allergic to are some of your favorites (popcorn was a personal favorite of mine, for example) it may make the task of “saying ‘goodbye’” even more difficult. You may even experience a bit of nostalgia as you part ways with these foods. However, as you get rid of these foods…DON’T LOOK BACK! This isn’t just “goodbye” it’s “good riddance”! Donate your food to a local food bank, give them away to friends who could make use of the free food, or throw them in the trash. Just keep in mind that with each item discarded you’re taking steps to improve your health, and eventually, each of these foods will become a distant memory in a dusty corner of your mind. Rest assured that you’ll find replacements for most of these foods, and you’ll carry on living your life healthier, and much happier.
If you find this task difficult, keep in mind that each of the allergens (try not to think of these as foods…) that remain in your home pose more harm than good. There may be bouts of temptation, or occasional relapses in your dietary regimen, but keep moving toward your goal of a healthier, happier you, and you’ll be glad you did in the long-run. Sure these allergens may taste good, and may even provide a sense of comfort, but are they worth the fatigue, hives, stomach aches, or trip to the emergency room that follows?
Do your best to stay strong and remove those allergens! You’ll be glad you did as you begin to realize better health with each passing day!
